How to pay for your purchase

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

We use WorldPay as our payment procesor for your complete peace of mind.

To pay by credit or debit card over the phone

If you wish to pay by credit or debit card over the phone, please call us on 0870 748 7135 any time between 10am and 6pm Monday to Friday or 10am and 1pm on Saturdays.

To pay by cheque, postal order and cash

If you do not wish to pay by card, you can pay by cheque, postal order or cash. For instant dispatch you should send cash or postal orders, we recommend that you send these by Recorded or Special Delivery for your own peace of mind, ensuring that the method you choose provides adequate insurance.

If you pay by cheque we will wait for the cheque to clear (4 working days). If paying by cheque you MUST please write a valid cheque guarantee number on the back, as well as the expiry date shown on the card. Without this number, we cannot take the cheque as payment.

All orders are in UK pounds sterling unless otherwise stated, and payment for international orders must be made in UK pounds sterling.

Is it safe to give my credit/debit card details online?

Darkplanets.com maintains the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level 128bit SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You payment is processed by WorldPay who are one of the world's leading payment processors. We do not have direct access to your card details at any stage if you shop online, as the transaction is processed entirely by WorldPay.

When will my account be debited?

Under normal circumstances (*see below) we will not debit your card until your order is ready to be shipped. Once your order is due to be dispatched, we will debit your nominated account and send you an email to confirm that your order is on its way.

*Under some exceptional circumstance (e.g. where we may have to order a special item from a manufacturer on your behalf) we may require full payment to be processed in advance.

I am not from the UK, how much is this in my currency?

As we are a UK company all our charges are in UK pounds sterling (£). You will need to contact your credit card issuer for currency conversion rates.
