| I have been waiting for this game so long that now that its out, I dont know any other game to look forward to. I bought the game on release date, quickly opening the box, taking the CD out and starting to play it. I didnt bother reading the instructions, as my patience for this game had been extended for too long. I clicked on single player right away, not even bothering to play it on co-op. The first level had a similar start as the one in Halo, but the action started a lot sooner. I immediately took two submachine guns, using the dual wield ability, and blasted an army of elites to hell. The room was flashing around me, the action on the screen never stopping. I rapidly picked up a plasma sword and pressed the right trigger accidentaly when there was an enemy in front of me. The Master-Chief lunged forward, instantly killing the golden elite in front of me. As the game progressed, the grin on my face became bigger, being able to kill the once almighty elites with a quick blow in their face. A few levels into the game I finally managed to control one of the enemy wraiths, blasting them with their own artillery. My allies were, in the meantime, driving around like crazy idiots, posing as a perfect distraction for me to sneak up and kill the remains of the enemy base. The new mount ability was perfect as i managed to take over a ghost without damaging it and then blasting its previous driver to the other side of the screen. This game is a must have even if you didnt enjoy the first one. The multiplayer levels are massive, most of them containing vehicles. I give it a 10/10. |
